Let’s transform with color!
Il relooking d’interni ci permette di valorizzare un ambiente cambiandone l’aspetto, in tempi brevi e senza modifiche strutturali. Quello che vi presento oggi è il relooking che ho svolto a casa di Madalina.
Interiors relooking allows us to enhance the value of a location by changing its appearance, in a short time and without structural changes. What I present to you today is the relooking I did at Madalina’s house.
Le pareti e tutti gli elementi fissi della casa erano bianchi. Da una prima analisi ho proposto a Madalina che un colore a contrasto avrebbe cambiato l’aspetto del corridoio. Il bianco sulle pareti non fa risaltare gli elementi fissi dello stesso colore, quindi per far risaltare le porte e tutti i complementi presenti ho pensato di agire sulle pareti.
The walls and all the fixed elements of the house were white. After a first analysis I suggested to Madalina that a contrasting color would change the appearance of the corridor. The white walls do not bring out the fixed elements of the same color, so to make the doors and all the accessories stand out, I decided to act on the walls.
Con la cartella colori alla mano, abbiamo trovato lo stesso tono di greige presente nella pavimentazione. Il colore è stato steso sulle pareti dove erano presenti le porte e su quelle con i quadri con le cornici chiare.
With the color chart, we found the same tone of greige present in the floor. The color was spread on those walls where the doors were present and on those with paintings with clear frames.
Su due pareti ho proposto di lasciare la tonalità di bianco presente ed ho giocato con i contrasti, inserendo due elementi di tonalità grigia (su una è stato posizionato un grande specchio e su un’altra una consolle ridipinta dello stesso grigio delle pareti).
On two walls I proposed to leave the white tone present and I played with the contrasts, inserting two elements of gray tone (on one was placed a large mirror and on another a console repainted in the same gray of the walls).
Per il piccolo corridoio ho pensato di creare una sorta di “scatola” dipingendo tutti i muri, per far risaltare le cornici e i complementi preesistenti. Con questa nuova tonalità così satura, tutto ha cambiato aspetto rendendo la casa decisamente più armoniosa e di carattere!
For the small corridor I created a sort of “box” by painting all the walls, to bring out the pre-existing frames and accessories. With this new saturated shade, everything has changed appearance, making the house much more harmonious and full of character!
Come vedi, basta cambiare la disposizione di qualche mobile e utilizzare il colore giusto, per far sì che gli ambienti possano sembrare molto diversi. Quasi per magia e in pochissimo tempo, ci si ritrova avvolti da un’atmosfera nuova.
As you can see, it’s enough to change the arrangement of some furniture and use the right color, to make spaces look very different. Almost by magic and in very short time, you find yourself surrounded by a new atmosphere.
Maddy è stata felicissima di questo “cambio look”e io più di lei… l’ ho realizzato grazie ai colori laChalk e non vedo l’ora di dare nuova vita alla prossima casa grazie ai relooking ambientali!
Maddy was very happy with this “change of look” and I more than her … I made it thanks to the laChalk colors and I can’t wait to give new life to the next house!
